  3. Keyboards and fonts have different jobs

iPhone and iPad

Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard and choose Georgian.

Tap the globe key while typing. To choose a keyboard directly, touch and hold the globe and select Georgian from the list.

Android and Gboard

  1. If you use Gboard, open a text field to show the keyboard.
  2. Open its settings, then Languages → Add keyboard.
  3. Choose Georgian, select a layout and tap Done.

Touch and hold the space bar to switch languages. You can also use the globe key when enabled.

With another keyboard, look for Languages in its own settings. You do not need to install Gboard if your existing keyboard already supports Georgian.

Keyboards and fonts have different jobs

A keyboard chooses the characters you enter; a font controls their appearance. Downloading a font from fonts.ge does not change your phone keyboard’s appearance.

On iPhone and iPad, font apps can install fonts for documents; manage them under Settings → General → Fonts. Importing a particular downloaded font depends on the app. On Android, check the import options of the app you work in.
